Q-2-U offers a complete menu of delicious catering options. From our award winning pulled pork to our famous smoked chicken, Q-2-U has catered feasts for groups from 60 to 700 throughout the Charlotte N.C. and surrounding area for weddings, corporate picnics, employee/customer appreciation lunches and school/church festivals. Q-2-U will design the perfect menu for your event. Great food is the key ingredient to great events. Begin yours with great aromas from our on-site smoker and complete it with our spectacular food.
Sauce & Rub
One of the secrets to great barbeque is also the sauce. Q-2-U’s award-winning, vinegar based sweet sauce is now available. Our secret recipe consists of only the finest ingredients making our sauce, “An epicurean delight for those with discriminating taste.” You’ll also want to try our special rub, guaranteed to bring out the best flavor of your meat.
The Team
Pit Masters Mark Cieslikowski and Brian Rich have been cooking barbecue together for over 25 years. Along with their wives, Renee and Linda, Q-2-U was founded in 2004 when we first competed in the Memphis In May sanctioned event, Charlotte Shout, finishing in the top 10 against the country’s finest barbecue teams.
Competitions
Q-2-U Wins 2007 Masters of BBQ Competition
Q-2-U was awarded the 2007 Masters Award at a ceremony at the State House in Columbia SC in December 2007. The Masters competition is a year long event sponsored by the South Carolina Barbecue Association ( SCBA). After finishing a close 3rd in 2006, Q-2-U was the only repeat award winner in 2007.
Since our first competition, Q-2-U has been successfully competing and winning awards throughout North and South Carolina, and as far away as Asbury Park, NJ.
As members of the National Barbecue Association (NBBQ), Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) and the South Carolina Barbeque Association (SCBA), Q-2-U is now ranked as one of the top competition BBQ teams in South Carolina, finishing first (from over 350 South Carolina cook teams) in the 2007 SCBA Masters
